Peasmarsh

On Saturday October 20 (tomorrow!!) the Memorial Hall Committee will hold a Grand Clearance Sale at the hall from 1.30pm. There might be some exciting bargains from furniture and appliances to china, books, toys etc. Everything must go! Casual bookings for the pavilion instead of the hall can still be made through the hall caretaker, Jackie Brooks (222654) but there will be no Saturday bookings due to football fixtures. The hall committee would like to thank all the volunteers who are helping to ready the hall for the refurbishment work (no mean feat!) which starts on October 22. We can look forward to our newly refurbished hall hopefully opening up next summer - I can’t wait!

For the first time ever, The Oliver Curd Trust Christmas cards are now on sale!! Christmas Smiles or Dove over Bethlehem, 10 cards in a pack for £3.50, postage & packing £2.50 if required! Find the Oliver Curd Trust on Facebook or speak to anyone in the Curd family for more information - the cards look lovely!

A reminder about the Link Romania shoebox appeal (filling a shoebox with everyday items such as soap, toothpaste, shampoo, combs, socks, crayons and colouring books etc.) Your gift of a shoebox would bring such happiness to the people who receive them so if you would like to support this charity this year then please collect a leaflet from Peasmarsh Church or contact Sue Cavilla Tel: 23043.
