Pensioner hit by a lorry in Battle

A WOMAN was hit by a lorry in Battle town centre.

The 75-year-old, from Battle, was struck by the white lorry as she crossed the High Street at 11.20am on Wednesday April 30.

The woman suffered a number of broken teeth, bruising to her face and a swollen ankle.

PC Nigel Dunn said: “I would like to speak to anyone who was in High Street at the time of the collision and saw or heard what happened. Please contact me on 101, quoting serial 475 of 30/4, with any information at all that you have.”
