40 images from the Wheels Through The Years event at Burgess Hill

Wheels Through The Years was organised by the Weald Classic Vehicle Club and took place on Sunday, 14 June in Burgess Hill, and showcased more than three hundred vehicles. David and Mandy Nightingale from the events team estimated that there must have been between eight and nine thousand people attended the free spectacle, that also featured live music, a dog show and over sixty traders.

David said “Our chosen charity is Serv Sussex, who are volunteers for emergency blood and medical items, we’re not sure how much was raised yet. We were amazed how successful this year was, based on the fact the town fayre was on the same day”. The Town Council was able to provide a shuttle bus from Wheels Through the Years to the Burgess Hill Summer Fayre which took place at the same time, the two events complementing each other and giving people the opportunity to enjoy both.
