Bonfire societies from across Sussex and drumming groups processed through the streets with flaming torches. People gathered on the seafront, where a huge fire was burning, to watch the spectacular firework finale. There were cheers from the crowd when this year’s effigy - an evil looking Coronavirus - was blown up.
