5. Aine - two-year-old German Shepherd
Aine is extremely underweight and was seen being thrown out of a van, according to Arundawn. She is nervous and unsure, but very sweet. A spokesperson for the charity said: "These are an intelligent and really loving breed - anyone who's had a German Shepherd will know that they make the most fabulous companions...every bit of time, love and attention you give them they will give back to you tenfold!" 6. Arlo - four-year-old German Wirehired Pointer cross
Arlo is looking for a new home as a matter of urgency, Arundawn said. He is 'the perfect house guest', according to the charity. He is clean indoors, loves affection, and is good with children and adults alike. He needs a strong-minded owner who will work with his lead manners and attention span outside. Photo: Arundawn
7. Daisy - six-year-old Saluki
Daisy is a new arrival, but the charity said they already know 'she is amazing'. Funny, playful and so accepting, she will make a wonderful addition to any family, according to Arundawn. Photo: Arundawn
8. Ben - four-year-old Mastiff
Ben is described as 'the total package'. He enjoys meeting new people and, once he know you, becomes a 'love bug' who loves nothing more than resting his head on you for a rub. He loves his walks and walks nicely 95 per cent of the time, according to Arundawn. However, he can get a bit excited if he spots squirrels. Ben's favourite pastimes including sleeping on a comfy bed, zooming around the garden and walks with lots of sniff breaks. He’s happy to spend time with his humans but also enjoys his own space, taking himself off to his bed throughout the day (and at bedtime). Photo: Arundawn
