Bexhill's historic Colonnade available to rent for businesses and traders following major refurbishment work
The Colonnade in Bexhill is available to rent for businesses.
Commercial property agent Dyer & Hobbis is advertising the Grade II listed building.
It said the restaurant and kitchen unit is available at £27,500 per annum.
Three units are available at £7,000 per year, four at £3,000 per annum, and two at £5,500 per year, it added.

It said: “The Colonnade presents a unique opportunity to secure a prime beachfront location within one of Bexhill’s most distinctive Grade II Listed buildings.
“The newly renovated property offers uninterrupted sea views through its striking curved frontage and benefits from high footfall along the town’s vibrant promenade. Positioned directly in front of the iconic De La Warr Pavilion, a Grade I Listed cultural landmark and international centre for contemporary arts, the site draws year-round visitors.
“The Colonnade comprises a furnished restaurant space and a series of smaller kiosk units, offering flexible opportunities for independent operators, boutique traders, or complementary uses.
“We are welcoming proposals for the entire building, multiple parts or for individual units, whether on a licence basis or, where appropriate, as part of a longer term lease arrangement.”
Rother District Council said refurbishment and repair work was now 'entering its final stages'.
A council spokesperson said: “While the majority of the site will reopen, the upper deck will remain fenced off until the final elements are completed, with all works expected to finish by mid‑April.”
They added: “Alongside the physical restoration, the council is progressing its plans for the building’s longer‑term future. Marketing of the commercial spaces has already attracted strong interest, and the council anticipates having regular traders in place for the summer season.”
The work comes after traders at the Colonnade said they were ordered by Rother District Council to close by the end of September 2025 due to the refurbishment.
The shops affected included Eleven@Colonnade, The Pebble People, Rachel's Glass Store, Hughies Beach Café and The Bag Lady.
A petition calling for the council to guarantee a 'right to return' for traders was signed by more than 4,500 people.
Rother District Council appointed DBR Southern to carry out the repairs and refurbishment works on the Colonnade due to water ingress issues.
The Colonnade was built in 1911 to commemorate the Coronation of George V. It was given Grade II listed status in 2008.
