Birds of a Feather actress Pauline Quirke to visit Brighton West Academy
Having provided a whole host of exciting virtual performing arts activities throughout lockdown, including workshops with West End performers, filmmaking masterclasses with world class film directors and acting workshops with famous comedians, PQA Brighton finally returned back to their regular Academy sessions on Saturday September 5.
Ahead of the visit, Pauline said: “I’m so happy to see all our students return to PQA. Due to the extended lockdown, our students have really missed the social interaction, friendships, camaraderie, and community that PQA provides.

Some of PQA Brighton-West’s highlights from the last ten years have included regional and national Film Festivals and exclusive red-carpet Cinema Screenings in London’s Leicester Square.
These events are hugely rewarding and are a wonderful opportunity to showcase the students’ many talents in such a prestigious venue. Students have also taken London’s Theatreland by storm with performances on the stages at both Her Majesty’s and Shaftesbury Theatres in musicals written specially for PQA.
PQA Brighton-West is enrolling now, classes run on Saturday from 9:45 – 13:00 at Southwick Community Centre, 24 Southwick Street, BN42 4TE.
