Bognor dentist gets clean shave to raise money for Lions Club

A Bognor Regis dental surgeon who is preparing to reopen his practice has shaved off his beloved beard to raise money for charity.

Dr Simon Knights, owner of Knights Dental Surgery in North Bersted, will have to wear a well-fitted face mask when his practice reopens, which meant his facial hair would get in the way.

Simon, who has been a member of Bognor Regis Lions Club for more than 30 years, decided it was also an opportunity to raise some money for the club, which has been unable to run its usual fundraising events due to the coronavirus pandemic.
