Brewers Fayre restaurant in Hastings is set to close
The Windmill Brewers Fayre restaurant in Hastings will be closing in September.
It is part of a series of closures by parent company Whitbread which is closing all 89 Brewers Fayre sites in the UK as well as its Beefeater outlets, including the White Hart at Guestling.
The Windmill Brewers Fayre, at Sedlescombe Road North, next to Sainsbury’s, is a popular venue for families.
Anyone signed up to its reward system, which allows customers to earn points when they spend at a diner, to then be used as money off food, has until August 31 to use them.
Under a five-year plan, Whitbread will sell off 110 sites and convert others into 600 new hotel rooms to save £250 million.
