Brighton Half Marathon: in pictures

Nearly 8,000 runners took part in the 30th half marathon despite challenging, windy conditions.

Winner of the very first race in 1990, David Knight, started the race with a klaxon yesterday. Men’s winner, Kevin Moore, 29, crossed the line in 01:09:05 and women’s winner, Phillipa Williams, 26, achieved a time of 01:17:55.

Wheelchair racers battled high winds with the men’s wheelchair race winner, Gary Cooper, achieving a time of 01:20:49. Women’s wheelchair race winner, Ellie Page, crossed the line in 01:36:39.
