Brighton 'most popular destination for hen parties'

Brighton is the most popular destination for hen dos, new research shows

Two party companies revealed that Brighton is now the number one spot for hen parties – with Benidorm taking the top spot for stag dos.

Brighton based companies Hen Heaven and The Stag Company have run their Annual Review of hen and stag activity over the past 12 months.

They found that the that May Bank Holiday is officially the busiest time in the year.

Hen Heaven said Brighton was its most popular hen do location, followed by London, Benidorm, Newcastle and Borunemouth.

It's the first time Brighton has overtaken London in popularity among hen groups.

A Hen Heaven spoeksperson said: "Our data shows that stag groups are more likely to travel to the EU for their weekend whilst hen groups are more likely to have a UK based hen party."

Popular hen activities include cocktail making, dance experiences and nude life drawing, while stags tend to go do bubble football, clay pigeon shooting and paint-balling.
