Burglars attempt break-ins in villages around Horsham

Burglaries and attempted break-ins have taken place in villages around Horsham over the past weeks.

Police say that a bicycle was stolen in one incident when an outbuilding at a property in Faygate Lane, Faygate, was broken into on Sunday (March 7).

In an earlier incident on February 2, burglars damaged a window when they tried to break into a house in Smugglers Way, Barns Green.

And, say police, burglars tried to break into a house in East Street, Amberley, some time between 7pm on March 1 and 8am the following day.
