Chichester District Council was alerted on Friday afternoon (June 26) to the fallen tree in the Royal Mail car park on Grange Road.

The tree was blocking access to the vehicle exit.

A council spokesperson said: "Staff from our depot assessed the site and worked with the Cowdray Estate to quickly remove the tree and clear the exit for vehicles."
