Chichester man scoops £100,000 on a National Lottery scratchcard
A lucky Chichester resident has won £100,000 after buying a National Lottery scratchcard and said he plans to buy guitars with the money for a close friend.
The National Lottery said the 55-year-old man scooped top prize on a £100,000 Gold scratchcard he bought from his local retailer on Friday, November 14 2025.
The winner, who buys a ticket every now and again, plans to enjoy some home comforts and treat his friends.
The winner, who did not wish to be identified, said: “It's brilliant to know I can treat myself and others – I know my good friend is after a guitar. You always hope you might win, and now it's actually happened!”

Andy Carter, senior winners' advisor at Allwyn, operator of The National Lottery, congratulated the Chichester winner, saying, “Congratulations to our £100,000 Gold winner! It is brilliant to see that he can now enjoy life more comfortably and treat his friend to those guitars. Here's to a warm and wonderful future.”
