The 13-year-old has a lot of love to offer his new family. He has stolen the hearts of everyone at Dogs Trust Shoreham and is particularly popular with the centre’s office staff, who he takes pleasure in spending most of the day with.

The sweet Poodle cross has been enjoying lapping up all the attention that he can at the rehoming centre but would love nothing more than a home of his own to settle in and enjoy his retirement.

His perfect home would be somewhere quiet and peaceful, where he can slowly adjust to his new environment; taking advantage of all the luxuries and love his new family and home have to offer.

Despite his age, Barney is still very spritely and enjoys playing games with his toys or heading out on walks for some sniffing and exploring.

Sociable amongst other dogs of a similarly calm nature to his own, Barney is happy have walking buddies but would prefer to be the focus of his family as the only pet in the home.

The youngest members of his family will need to be sixteen and over and he requires a multiple-person household, as he will thrive with someone always nearby to keep him company.
