21. Mac - one year old Bull breed cross
Mac is a friendly, exuberant boy who is still very much a pup, the RSPCA said. He is a big boy who weighs around 34kg and just wants to be loved, but sometimes he doesn’t realise how big and strong he can be! He responds well to praise, physical contact and treats, and is 'terrified' of loud noises, especially raised voices. He needs patient, kind owners who can commit to continuing his training as he is eager to learn. He loves to play and would happily spend hours in a garden playing with toys. Mac also loves to find a sunny spot to sunbathe in and will snuggle up with his people on the sofa in the evening. He enjoys puzzles and would like his family to create interesting enrichment for him. He will need to be the only pet in the home, ideally without noisy canine neighbours. Mac will also need housetraining and his own, secure garden, as well as owners experienced with large breed dogs. Photo: RSPCA

22. Hank - two year old Cane Corso
During his time at the RSPCA, Ralph has matured from a worried adolescent into a big, cheeky, young adult. He is a very clever boy who loves to learn new things but still has his daft, clumsy moments. He knows many commands, such as: sit, down, paw, spin, speak, stay, come, leave, here, kisses and his name. Ralph is very wary of strangers and needs gentle, slow introductions when meeting new people. However, once you have gained his trust he becomes a big, soppy, cuddly boy! He will ideally need to be the only pet in the home but, depending on the circumstances, the RSPCA may consider him living with a large female dog. Ralph requires a quiet, adult-only home with a large garden abd an owner experienced with large bull breeds. Photo: RSPCA

23. Rosie - ten year old Terrier cross
The RSPCA said Rosie is an active, older lady who likes to chat! She is a typical cheeky terrier who likes to shout at all the wildlife on her walks. Thankfully, she loves her food so can be easily distracted. Rosie knows sit and her name and does the most adorable beg and wave. Rosie will need to be the only pet in the home as she is not a fan of other animals. She can also be a little worried in certain situations, especially with the vet, so will need gentle handling and reassurance. Photo: RSPCA

24. Cindy - two year old crossbreed
Cindy is a sweet girl who likes to sit on your lap for cuddles once she knows and trusts you but she can be very worried to begin with. She is learning to walk on the lead and is doing well Cindy will need some training and help to build her confidence as she has not experienced much in her previous home. Cindy has never lived on her own and would like another resident male dog for companionship. She is looking for an adult only, experienced home and will need her own garden. Cindy is a new arrival so more information will follow as she is assessed further. Photo: RSPCA
