13. Peggy - one-year-old Mastiff crossbreed
Peggy is a kind-hearted, sociable girl who was originally brought to the centre after being found in a box on the streets. Unfortunately, she contracted ringworm and had to stay in isolation, leading to her missing out on key training and socialisation at a young age. Despite this, Peggy has adapted well to living in a home environment and loves to be in the company of people. She sleeps in a crate at night and takes herself to bed without any fuss. She is generally a chilled girl and will lounge around the house for a lot of the day – but typically of a dog her age, has periods of excitement in the morning and evenings, when she likes to play with her chew toys, snuffle mats and chases her ball or frisbee outside. She is friendly with other dogs but will need to be the only dog in the home to ensure she can receive the attention she craves. She sometimes gets a bit anxious by the roadside and will need to gain confidence around traffic. Photo: RSPCA

14. Venus - seven-year-old Lurcher
The RSPCA says Venus is a beautiful and gentle girl. During her stay and time in foster, she has won the hearts of whoever meets her. Although she is very sweet and affectionate, she can find the world quiet scary. Loud noises and busy areas can be overwhelming and stressful. She has slowly been gaining confidence and is looking for someone who will continue to support her through positive reward-based training. Venus is a girl who loves her creature comforts and enjoys nothing more than being snuggled in a well cushioned bed or on a cosy sofa. She appreciates a bed in every room so she can follow you around the house, because of this, she needs someone around the majority of the time and is looking for a relaxed and calm home life. 15. Figgy - eight month old Mastiff cross
Figgy is a cheeky, goofy boy who is adored by everyone at the centre, the RSPCA said. Sadly, as a puppy, he was found abandoned in a cardboard box along with his siblings and had ringworm. This has sadly meant he has spent a lot of time at the kennels in the isolation unit until he was clear. The RSPCA is looking for an experienced home who will understand his breed and are willing to follow his exercise plan to build up muscle. He is waiting for his family who understands that despite being a big bouncy boy he is also a very sensitive soul who needs time and support to learn about the big wide world. Figgy requires an owner who is keen to continue his reward-based training and 'really bring out the best in him'. Photo: RSPCA

16. Pinto - one year old Dachshund cross Chihuahua
Pinto is an anxious boy who takes time to bond with new people. Once you earn his trust he is super affectionate, friendly and a very happy boy! He loves his food and treats, sleeping under his blankets, cuddles on laps, laying in the sunshine and having zoomies in the garden. He likes to walk in quiet places but anywhere too busy can be a bit overwhelming for him. Pinto has lived with another small dog in his previous home but can be vocal and worried by canines when out walking. He may prefer to be the only dog in his new home. Anyone wishing to adopt Pinto will need to commit to several meetings at the shelter to get to know him. He needs an adult only home, a quiet home environment and will also need his own private garden. Photo: RSPCA
