Dogs Trust Shoreham dog of the week Biggles is a lively lurcher looking for active owners
Meet Biggles, a bouncy lurcher with a friendly, spirited character and a real zest for life.
Staff at Dogs Trust Shoreham say the 18-month-old’s exuberance can mean he will sometimes forget his manners – making him enthusiastic when greeting people.
However, he is a very smart dog that is doing well with his training, so has tons of potential to keep making progress.
Biggles in looking for dedicated owners who have lots of time to support him with his ongoing training. The youngest members of his family must be over the age of 16.
A fun, varied lifestyle where this loveable lurcher can get lots of input and plenty of opportunity to express his energetic nature would be perfect.
It is essential that he has a garden of his own. Out of the house, quieter walking areas will be needed while he settles into his routine and he must be walked on his muzzle, due to his high chase drive.
Biggles cannot live with cats, caged birds or other small furry pets but could potentially live with a well-suited dog.
Contact Dogs Trust Shoreham on 01273 915100 to make an appointment to adopt or take a dog to the rehoming centre in Brighton Road, Shoreham.
