Eastbourne MP 'bowled over by wellwishers' ahead of wedding
Eastbourne MP Josh Babarinde has said he has been 'bowled over by all the lovely wellwishers' ahead of his wedding.
The MP announced on social media on Tuesday, July 28 that he and his fiance Connor would be heading to Scotland for the ceremony.

He will then travel back to Eastbourne for another celebration.
Announcing the news on social media, he said: “Connor and I have been bowled over by all the lovely well-wishers across Eastbourne and online since we got engaged last year - thank you so much.
“We're very excited to be getting married in the coming days (a ceremony in Scotland, where Connor is from, followed by a ceremony back home in Eastbourne.) We’ll then be catching a break together to kick off married life.
“While I'm away tying the knot, my incredible team - who many of you know - will still be supporting residents on my behalf as usual. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if my team can help via [email protected]
“I've got a stack of photos and stories about various visits to brilliant businesses, charities and more stored up on my phone that I've not yet shared (some months ago!) The coming weeks are a perfect opportunity to finally share some of these, so I've lined up a bunch of social media posts to go out while I'm away where you'll be able to hear about them. I've done the same for my regular column in the Eastbourne Herald and Eastbourne News.
“Thank you again for all your wonderfully kind wishes.
“See you in a couple of weeks when I'm back.”
