Eastbourne: St Wilfrid's Hospice Rainbow Run returns for 2026
St Wilfrid’s Hospice’s Rainbow Run returns on Saturday, June 6.
During the five-kilometre race, volunteers throw plumes of colourful powder over participants as they pass through ‘paint stations’.
The event will help to raise ‘vital’ funds for St Wilfrid’s Hospice, which provides support for people across Eastbourne, Seaford, Hailsham, Uckfield, Heathfield (and all points between) with life-limiting illnesses.
A St Wilfrid’s spokesperson said: “Rainbow Run is perfect for families, friends, colleagues and anyone else who wants to experience the joy of running through the colours of the rainbow, whilst raising funds for hospice care.”

“You’ll run, walk, skip or dance through nine colour zones on the course!
"There'll be red, yellow, orange, pink, blue, green and purple powder paint stations, as well as the exciting addition of two foam stations; one at the start of the course and one just before the finish line!
“We’ll have a team of volunteers, AKA: The Paint Squad, who will be throwing big plumes of powder at you as you go by.
"Warning: some of them may have water guns, too!”
The run is open to all ages and abilities, and will be followed by a ‘paint party’.
The popular event has been sold out two years in a row.
Last year, more than 1,500 people took part, raising the event’s ‘highest amount ever’ at more than £100,000, according to St Wilfrid’s.
St Wilfrid’s Rainbow Run takes place at Nash Street Farm, near Hailsham, BN27 4AB, from 11am to 5pm.
