People are being invited to enjoy a cupcake with Hastings and Rye MP Sally-Ann Hart and Hastings Mayor James Bacon on Friday, June 18.

It ties in with the Alzheimer’s Society holding its annual national cupcake fundraising day on Thursday June 17 to help raise awareness of Dementia and much needed funds.

Hastings Lions President Brett McLean and Morrisons Community Champion Rosie Adams will be holding a small cupcake fundraising event at Teddy’s Diner based at the Azur, in St Leonards, in support of the local Hastings and St. Leonard’s Dementia Action Alliance.

As well as the MP and mayor, deputy mayor Ruby Cox will also be attending.
