Fallen tree blocks Hastings road
High winds today caused a large oak tree to topple over blocking Lower Park Road.
The tree fell close to the entrance to Harmers Pond this morning. Hastings Borough Council reported: “Lower Park Road has now been re-opened but Harmers layby is still blocked.”
High winds are still gusting as high as 42mph in the Hastings area but are expected to lessen overnight. Tuesday and Wednesday are expected to be dry with winds gusting to 22mph.
