Government funding provides boost for Hastings Old Town

The Hastings Old Town Collective is a community network and business association of independent traders, creatives, and local residents. They meet throughout the year, coordinate community initiatives, and organise local showcases and seasonal events, such as the Old Town Christmas events.

A spokesperson for the Collective said: “Thanks to our Pride in Place funding, our streets are looking a little brighter, and it's a little clearer where to shop, eat and drink. “We have colourful new planters, banners across George Street, The High Street and Courthouse Street. And our Christmas lights are on their way. “Huge thanks to Kevin Boorman and the Pride in Place team.”
