The hall committee secured funds from the National Lottery for refurbishment of the kitchen, toilets, rear exit and the outside area to the rear of the hall, and the open day presented an opportunity for people to see what work had been completed and to discover the facilities on offer.

The main hall was dressed to show how the space could be used for a Covid-19 wedding with an acoustic jazz trio providing additional atmosphere.
