Handcross man’s Christmas song to raise charity cash
A Handcross man has released a Christmas song to raise money for Children with Cancer UK.
Craig Dutton said the Xmas Rays have recorded a song with the help of friends, available to download and stream from all digital platforms.
Children from around the UK star in the video along with Craig’s son and stepson.
Craig said: “This Christmas, the future of childhood cancer research is at risk.
“The pandemic has significantly reduced how much can be invested into life-saving childhood cancer research. We want to help those in need more than ever.”
Craig’s dad Terry Dutton wrote and recorded a song with friends and family to raise money for the victims of the King’s Cross fire disaster in 1987.
Thirty-three years later Craig has now rewritten the song and with the help of a new generation is helping those in need again.
