Hastings Jack in the Green holding Volunteers Evening
Volunteers are needed to put on one of the biggest annual events in Hastings.
The Hastings Jack in the Green Committee is asking people to come along to an open evening at East Hastings Angling Club, on Friday January 16, to find out more about volunteer roles for this year’s big event over the first May bank holiday weekend.
Help is needed for collecting greenery and decorating the Old Town as well as for fund raising and stewarding on the day of the procession itself and with the many events happening over the weekend of may 1 – 4.
The evening gets underway at 8pm. The East Hastings Angling Club is on the Stade, opposite the Lifeboat House.
A Jack in the Green spokesperson said: “We are looking forward to meeting you and having you as part of our team.”
