Hastings Oktoberfest - everything you need to know
The event on October 23 and 24 has been organised by musician Sam Calver.
It is being sponsored by Jagermeister and East Sussex brewery Bedlam, who will be providing their classic German Pilsner along with a Vienna stye lager and their brand new Oktoberfest beer, brewed to a 200 year old German recipe using all the classic ingredients.

Hide AdJagermeister will be there with its branded jeep and will have its new cold-brew coffee version.
Gourmet Griddle will be serving up traditional Bavarian food with a gourmet twist.
The event is being held in a giant marquee at Horntye Sports Ground. Friday night is The Rufus Stone Band, The Rockitmen and an Oompah Band. Saturday features Dr Savage, Beve & The Beatroots and Sam Calver and his band finishing up the night with an Oompah Band.
Tables are being sold per group of 6 at £25 per head. (£150 per table). There will be a table service ordering system

Hide AdSam said: “The response has been really positive. We have a full Covid safety plan in place along with risk assessments.
“People are asked to respect the rules and wear masks at all time when they’re not seated at their table.
“The event is being held in a 20 x 60 meter giant heated marquee, all benches will be spaced two meters apart and there will be a one way system in place with NHS QR codes in place.
“The music industry has been hit so hard by covid but it is possible for us to move forward if we work within the rules together. Providing much needed work for people but also entertainment in a town that is usually so rich in music, Hastings lives and breathes music. We have to work together to ensure the industry survives.”
