The music star, whose real name is Rory Graham, revealed on Twitter that he will be reading a bedtime story on the BBC show on Monday (March 15).

Sharing a photo of himself holding a giant teddy bear, the father-of-one wrote: “I’ll be reading a #BedtimeStory on @CBeebiesHQ at 6.50pm on Monday 15th March. Also on @BBCiPlayer.”

Rag’n’Bone Man, who is known for hits including ‘Human’ and ‘Giant’, lives in Heathfield and was born in Uckfield.

He is regularly seen in the area and has previously been praised for supporting local businesses.

In November, 2019, he visited Butchers Hook Cafe in Heathfield and indulged in a full English breakfast.

Jackie Adams, owner of the cafe, said: “He lives here – you see him about – we all do.

“He comes in our butchers and we kept moaning to him about coming into the cafe too, and he did.

“He is really down to earth – he is lovely. And, hopefully he will be coming back.

“He always supports the local businesses, which is nice.”

Bedtime Stories are shown at 6.50pm every evening as part of the Bedtime Hour.

The story is read by a different celebrity every night.

Famous faces to date have included Tom Hardy to Jessica Ennis-Hill and Maxine Peake to Tim Peake.

The stories are always available to watch again on CBeebies iPlayer for 30 days after being shown on television.
