Here’s what the weather will be like in Sussex today

Rain is expected throughout the day, but temperatures will stay warm in the late teens and early 20s.

In Brighton heavy rain is forecast all day, from 9am until about 6pm. There will be a brief break and then the showers are set to return at 8pm.

In Eastbourne it looks like a rainy day ahead, with light rain forecast from 9am to get heavier by 10am and at 2pm right into the evening.

And over in Hastings there’s a 50 per cent chance of rain at 10am, and 95 per cent chance at midday, with rain expected to last into the evening.

In West Sussex, Worthing is forecast a rainy day with heavy rainfall expected from 9am onwards.

In Chichester it is already raining, and this is expected to last all day, trailing off from about 3pm and stopping at about 6pm for a dry evening.

Horsham is set for a rainy day ahead, with showers forecast until about 5pm and a dry evening.
