Ho, Ho, Go! Registration opens for Bexhill's Santa Dash

Organised by Bexhill Lions Club, the fundraiser will start at 11:30 on the promenade adjacent to the Colonnade, with a warm-up session hosted by Zoe Ward Fit and Fab from 11am behind the De La Warr Pavilion to get participants in the mood.

Gary Saunders, who is the president of Bexhill Lions Club, said: "Do come along and be part of the heart-warming sea of red, have fun, help raise funds for good causes and really get into the festive spirit. All proceeds from the Santa Dash will help us continue our support of the local community in many different ways.

"Adult and child entries will each receive a Santa suit and a medal. All dogs that pay to enter will receive a medal, and festive costumes for dogs are encouraged."

Event organiser, Richard Winrow, added: "The cost for an adult is £15 and £10 for children, which includes a Santa suit and medal. Entering your four-legged friend costs £5.

"This is such a great event that has grown in popularity year on year. So do sign up quickly to get into the festive spirit and to ensure you get your free Christmas suits to join the wave of red on the seafront."

Participants can walk, run, jog, walk their dog, or push a pram along a 2km or 5km seafront circuit. You can collect Santa suits in advance at the DLWP on November 22 between 2:00 and 4:00pm. You can also pick up a token to collect your dog's medal after the race. If you can't collect your suit in advance, they will be available at 10:00am on the day of the event at the rear of the pavilion, but please allow enough time to get ready.

This popular, family-festive dash started in 2013 and has since raised over £12,000 for local good causes.
