Horsham ice rink set to close

The independently-owned Rec Rink - in Horsham Park off Albion Way - replaced the bowling alley at The REC which closed in November after 23 years.

But now the ice rink’s owners say they will close the skating centre on February 27.

However, they have hinted that the rink might return.

In a social media post they say: “Book your tickets now before it’s too late and the penguins have been put to bed for another year.”

No plans for what might replace the ice rink have yet been revealed.
