The figures were confirmed by Jon Merrick, the manager of the Hastings and St Leonards Primary Care Network, a network of GP practices, some of which are working together to provide Covid vaccines in Hastings.
The Hastings Centre is currently administering about 1,200 vaccines per week but anticipates this will increase, with an increased supply of vaccines, up to 3,000 injections per week.
In addition to those vaccinated at the Hastings Centre, another 550 residents living in nursing and care homes across Hastings have received their jabs. More than 200 staff members have also been vaccinated, according to Mr Merrick.
