The area, known locally as Reeves Corner, is where Courthouse Street meets the High Street and was the site of a property destroyed in a World War 2 bombing raid in May 1943.
The attractive planted area contains a boat, maritime artefacts and the propeller, believed to be from a Heinkel bomber that was dredged up by local fisherman Robert Ball.
The boat and propeller have now both been given a fresh coat of paint and the area tidied. Officially known as The Maritime Garden, the area was opened by Hastings Mayor Maureen Charlesworth in 2008.
The work was carried out by Dee Day White, who owns the nearby antique yard in Courthouse Street, who oversaw the project with help from his family.
