Ann Gillard, chief executive of People Matter, said: “This is a very difficult time for those who have lost their jobs or are now facing redundancies from sectors most affected by the pandemic.

Parents in that position – mums and dads – whose children have returned to school, may suddenly feel vulnerable and fearful. They shouldn’t despair. We will help and support them to use their time wisely now that the children are in the classroom.”

People Matter is currently offering a range of free services, careers advice and mock interviews as part of its remote working strategy. Email [email protected] or call receptionist Nadine on 07843 190738.
