The 2026 celebrations 2026 were supposed to take place on Saturday night (October 24) but had to be delayed following the arrival of Storm Austen in Sussex.
The society organised a scaled back version of the event for Sunday featuring the lighting of its bonfire, a grand fireworks display and a family funfair.
At 10.30pm on Sunday, the society took to Facebook to announce a successful evening.
The post said: “Thank you to everyone who supported us this evening on what was a fantastic evening full of colour!
“If you would like to make a donation towards the bonfire society to secure the future of the Littlehampton Bonfire Society, please see our JustGiving Page."
The society sent this newspaper some photos to publish.
Supporter Richard Smith, who also sent a photo, said: “A fantastic night out for all and a much-applauded firework display to finish!”
