New bakery to open in Horsham town centre

Gwyn’s Bakery, based in Horsham’s Bishopric next to KFC, has announced it will open on Saturday (November 14) at 9am.

It is the brainchild of experienced chef and baker Benjamin Lines who has been working on opening the bakery for the past year.

He says the bread will be freshly made on site and the bakery will be ‘open-plan’ so that customers can ‘see all the action while queueing for your bread or pastry.’

In a post on social media, he says the bakery is staging an opening offer of a ‘free cookie with every sourdough purchased.’

He adds: “I have been cheffing and baking for the past 12 years in London and around the world.

“Having moved to Horsham late last year I decided the town was in need of a bakery.”
