New charity shop opening in St Leonards

Hastings and Rother Voluntary Association for the Blind (HRVAB) is opening its new charity shop at 1 Sedlescombe Road North, Silverhill, St Leonards, on Tuesday October 27.

A spokesperson for the charity said: “Our shops are the place for true charity shop bargains. Customers tell us it feels like a community hub, somewhere to browse, have a chat and see a friendly face. The shop is run entirely by volunteers. “Every purchase and donation helps us support people with sight loss across Hastings and Rother. We have been doing that since 1921. “We are still looking for volunteer shop assistants and volunteer drivers. If you would like to help, message us or pop in and say hello. We would love to see you on opening day.
