The Horsham Resident of the Month Award will recognise unsung heroes in the community who deserve recognition for their outstanding contribution to life in Horsham and the surrounding towns and villages.

These residents may raise vital funds for charity, dedicate each day to helping others less fortunate than themselves, excel in education by overcoming personal challenges or perform heroic feats on the sports field or in everyday life.

Every month a winner will be chosen from the nominations received. They will be presented with a special certificate, featured in the West Sussex County Times and can choose to enjoy a complimentary meal for two at a local restaurant of their choice, or donate the money to their chosen charity.

Richard Pollins, DMH Stallard’s managing partner, said: “We are pleased to be launching this award with the West Sussex County Times. We value the communities in which we live and work and we want to recognise the many wonderful local people doing worthy deeds who go unnoticed. In fact, they probably wouldn’t consider that their achievements deserve recognition, but if you think they do, we want to hear from you.”

The first winner will be chosen in April, so please send your nominations to [email protected] with a short description of why you think they should become Horsham’s Resident of the Month.
