Flamingo Park, on Hastings seafront, purchased the Pinball X from Dreamland, in Margate, earlier this year ahead of the 2021 season. The Pinball X had been in the Margate amusement park since 2018.
Construction of the large spinning coaster started in Hastings earlier this month and have now been completed, according to Flamingo Park owner Michael Lee.
Alongside the Hastings Big Wheel, the Pinball X towers above the rest of Hastings seafront and could help boost the Hastings tourism industry that was hit hard in the summer of 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
On Thursday (April 22), Mr Lee said the Pinball X has now been fully built and hopes the new attraction will be ready to open for the May Day bank holiday weekend, starting on Saturday, May 1.
Before then, the ride will undergo an annual inspection to ensure it is safe to open.
