A mum who has achieved so much since being paralysed last year is to write a book about her new life in a wheelchair.

Amanda Worne from Yapton, broke her back in a freak accident down Bury Hill last November.

Being paralysed from the waist down, though, hasn’t held her back.

She has become an ambassador of the disability campaign Together We Will, given talks at local schools, raced in local events in her new handbike, and completed a tandem skydive.

Posting the news of the book she was write on Facebook, mum-of-four Amanda said: “I’m really looking forward to working on it. “I actually can’t quite believe it’s really happening.

“My life is just one exciting event after the other since my accident. I am so so so privileged and blessed.”
