And at Christ’s Hospital, a waiting shelter is being built, seating installed and landscaping work carried out.

The West Sussex Rail Users Association says that ‘general refurbishments’ are taking place at Pulborough Station and a customer information screen installed.

Improvements are also being made at Ifield and Crawley Stations, says the group, along with improvements at Amberley, Arundel, Barnham, Worthing and Shoreham Stations.

Crawley Station is to have improvements made to seating and the passenger waiting area, and there will be a new ticket office at Ifield and improvements to the station’s staff area.
