People enjoy Hastings beaches on the hottest day of the year so far: in pictures

Residents and visitors to Hastings flocked to the beaches on Friday (July 31) as temperatures reached more than 30 degrees.

Friday (July 31) was the hottest day of the year and saw beachgoers in Hastings, while at Camber Sands visitors were turned away due to the car parks being full by 11am. Read more about that here.
