Pete Tong among first names announced for Brighton’s On The Beach festival

The first names have been announced for next year’s On the Beach festival in Brighton.

The event, now in its seventh year, has established itself as one of the city’s most popular open-air events, taking place in a purpose-built arena on the seafront near the Palace Pier.

It will launch on July 9 with Pete Tong presents Ibiza Classics with Tom Richards Essential Orchestra, with Sonny Fodera also announced for Saturday 24th July.

One of electronic music’s most influential figures, Pete Tong MBE has spent more than three decades shaping dance music as a DJ, producer and BBC Radio 1 broadcaster. His acclaimed Ibiza Classics show reimagines some of the genre’s best-loved anthems with the Essential Orchestra.

Multi-platinum-selling DJ and producer Sonny Fodera brings his signature house sound to Brighton beach on Saturday 24th July, following the sell-out of all four dates on his March 2027 UK arena tour, including Manchester’s Co-op Live and London’s The O2. Known for hits including ‘Asking’, his latest album, can we do

it all again?, reached the UK Top 20.

On The Beach won ‘Best Location’ at the Skiddle Awards this year. Its seafront stage hosted 40 artists across

eight shows and two weekends with headliners Fatboy Slim, Madness, The Maccabees and Moby.

Launched in 2021, On The Beach has previously hosted sold out shows from Fatboy Slim, Chase & Status,

Above & Beyond, Bicep, Eric Prydz, Underworld and Carl Cox alongside Royal Blood, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, The Libertines, Bloc Party, Kaiser Chiefs and The Kooks.
