Photos: Bognor ice rink and festive market draws in crowds as it's beginning to look like Christmas

The much loved Bognor Regis Ice Rink has officially opened to the public for Christmas, marking the start of a new winter season in the town.

The attraction, known as Ice Skating in The Park, has returned to the London Road Coach Park and organisers say this year’s set up is larger and more inviting for families and visitors.

The rink measures 30 by 20 metres and offers a classic skating experience in the centre of Bognor Regis. It is designed to give skaters of all ages plenty of space to enjoy time on the ice across the festive period.

Visitors who prefer to stay off the rink will still find plenty to enjoy.

The surrounding Christmas market features a lively Funfair, traditional Christmas huts, a German style swing grill, a bar and a selection of children’s rides and games.

The event has become a regular highlight of local festive celebrations and continues to attract strong community support.

Organisers are encouraging people to book early, as tickets often sell out during busy periods.

The rink is open from 28 November 2025 to 4 January 2026.

Term-time opening hours run from 11am to 8pm with the last skate at 7pm, while weekends and school holidays open from 10am to 8pm with the same final session time.

Ice Skating in The Park is located at London Road Coach Park, London Road, Bognor Regis, PO21 1UU.

Tickets can be purchased online or on arrival, although availability on the day may be limited.

With its mix of ice skating, seasonal food and family-friendly entertainment, the rink continues to be a key part of Bognor Regis festive activities.

Organisers hope to welcome thousands of visitors over the six-week run as the town embraces the winter season once again.
