Police appeal for information surrounding missing man last seen in Eastbourne

Stephen Smith, 21, was last seen at approximately 8.30pm on Wednesday (February 26), according to police.

Officers said he may still be in the Eastbourne area but has previously been to Glyne Gap, Brighton, London, and recently talked about going to Ashford. He has a storage unit in Shoreham.

Police say he is 5’9, with short brown hair, a chipped front tooth and often wearing jogging bottoms and a t-shirt. He has number tattoos on his fingers and knuckles, and does not always dress for the weather. He sometimes puts on a slight American accent.

Stephen is vulnerable and police say they, and the man’s family, are concerned for his welfare.
