Police warn Hastings residents about phone scam
Police have warned people in Hastings that phone scammers are targeting vulnerable residents in the region pretending to be officers.
Hastings Police issued the warning on their social media pages today (August 3).
A Hastings Police spokesperson said: “Phone scammers purporting to be police are targeting vulnerable people in Hastings.
“Remember, police will never call and ask you to withdraw cash to be collected by a courier or ask for your bank cards as part of an investigation.
"Report a scam here.”
