Praise for Bexhill Air Cadets
Tribute has been paid to the dedication and achievements of the Royal Air Force Air Cadets at Bexhill.
Cllr Abul Azad, Vice Chairman of East Sussex County Council, visited cadets, staff and supporters.
He said: “This was a recognition of something truly special. The RAF Air Cadets represent the very best of our young people—demonstrating discipline, teamwork, ambition, and a strong sense of service to others. They are, without doubt, an inspiration to us all.
“Through their training and experiences, these young men and women develop skills that will stay with them for life—leadership, resilience, discipline, and confidence. Just as importantly, they gain a deeper understanding of service and responsibility—values that strengthen not only individuals, but our wider society.
“We must also recognise the dedication of the adult volunteers and staff who give their time, energy, and expertise to support the cadets. Their commitment ensures that these opportunities continue to thrive and grow.”
