Rottingdean’s Whiteway Centre had its most successful year yet

The Whiteway Centre, which was built in 1974 on the grounds of a local Georgian house after a huge fundraising drive, has attracted a record number of record number of students attending once of its many courses including archaeology, IT, painting, Italian, Spanish, astronomy and stained glass.
The venue, which is run by volunteers, also hosts many other activities such as Bridge and Yoga, and its newly refurbished kitchen and hall have accommodated weddings, anniversaries and public meetings.
