Runaway sheep rescued from busy Eastbourne roadside
Police officers in Eastbourne were given the runaround today to rescue some sheep that had got out.

A statement from Eastbourne Police said today (February 9): “These local officers were not ‘sheepish’ when they were flagged down on Lottbridge Drove, Eastbourne to help with rounding up these sheep that had escaped from a near by field
“The officers took these baaaaa-d sheep back to where they came from and made sure they were safe and secure.”
