The iconic i360 is set to star in this year's big panto at Brighton

Jack and the Beanstalk is showing at the DoubleTree By Hilton Brighton Metropole on the seafront until December 30.

The panto is directed by David Hill, the owner of E3 Events which stages the production, and he also stars as the wonderful Dame Camilla Trott.

Peter Lindsey writes: “David really lifts the show from start to finish with his camp, bubbly and very funny performance from start to finish.

“One of his big ideas this year has been to feature film of the i360 in the story, and it works very well for the Brighton audience.

“The other standout performance for me was Eloise Beck as Princess Jill. Her singing was just beautiful.

“Rising drag star Alfie Ordinary certainly stole some of the scenes as 'the campest cow on stage,' while Alfie Murray as Jack Trott, Sharon Starr as Mother Nature, Allan Jay as Silly Billy and Susan Woodbridge as the wicked Fleshcreep all impressed.

“It is indeed everything you would expect from a Brighton Family Panto - and the kids were absolutely loving it, so too of course were the adults.

"There's a great rendition of the 12 days of Christmas and some singalong favourites.”

There are 16 performances. There are three shows on Saturday December 27 and a further three on Sunday December 28.

Please note there are two Adult Only shows - Sunday December 28 at 8pm and Tuesday December 30 at 7pm. There is also a Signed performance on the Monday at 7pm.

Tickets are available here.
